SLPA Clinical Training Program

Looking to complete your ASHA Assistant Certification prerequisites? We offer a comprehensive training program to help you meet the requirements, including:

  • Ethics training (1 hour)
  • Universal safety precautions training (1 hour)
  • Patient confidentiality training (HIPAA, FERPA, etc., 1 hour)
  • 100 hours of clinical fieldwork supervised by ASHA-certified SLPs, including:
  • 80 hours of direct client interaction
  • 20 hours of indirect client interaction
